Our legal fees are fair and competitive. The cost of our services reflects the nature of the assignment and the novelty and difficulty of the legal issues involved.

We are particularly sensitive to the reluctance of some clients to seek needed legal advice on a timely basis because of the perception that legal fees are unpredictable. In response to this concern, we provide services on certain basic or preliminary matters (such as a simple incorporation or creation of an LLC) on a fixed fee rather than hourly rate basis.

When the nature or complexity of a particular matter is such that hourly rate billing is the most appropriate billing method, costs are based upon the time expended plus expenses actually incurred on your behalf, such as court filing fees, copying costs and overnight couriers. In those matters, estimating a fee requires us to calculate approximately how much work will be involved. No two legal situations are exactly the same and variations in facts can affect legal outcome, as well as the amount of legal work required. We can, however, after discussing the specifics of your legal situation, determine the scope of the work that appears to be required and estimate the maximum and minimum range of the legal fees and costs that would be incurred. You are under no obligation to proceed with legal representation unless you find it advisable.
